Yes, it is quite simple. Just put the phone between his palms folded and slide this by covering slightly under the bridge. Really help.
I have the same problem, I've even tried the curious with a knife and end up in hell scratches from him out. The best part? The phone is locked. :) So, if not the battery I have to wait 2 days to die. Samsung slider is the second that I had (the first was by Helio, T-Mobile phones) and had I glitchiest.
