I try to take a swimming lesson somewhere in Houston. I offer a class called "Basic Water Rescue, where they jump you in the clothing and the use of clothing as a flotation device. That's what I do when I have a water safety / rescue attended the course. At first, your question seems strange that I read the details. This is a great skill to have. Check with the Red Cross and see if they have what you are looking for.
